Description

Fudgy brownies topped with fresh strawberries and a smooth chocolate layer for a simple but impressive dessert.


Ingredients

Brownies:

  • Butter

  • Sugar

  • Eggs

  • Vanilla extract

  • All-purpose flour

  • Cocoa powder

  • Salt

  • Baking powder

Topping:

  • Fresh strawberries

  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • Heavy cream


Instructions

  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

  • Melt butter and mix with sugar.

  • Add eggs and vanilla; whisk until smooth.

  • Combine flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.

  • Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.

  • Spread into pan and bake at 350°F until set.

  • Cool completely.

  • Arrange halved strawberries on top.

  • Melt chocolate chips with heavy cream.

  • Pour chocolate over strawberries and spread gently.

 

  • Chill until firm, then slice and serve.

Notes

Chill well before cutting.
