Ingredients

Flank steak, thinly sliced

Soy sauce

Brown sugar

Garlic
-
Fresh ginger

Water or low-sodium broth

Cornstarch (optional)

Green onions (optional)
Instructions

Slice beef thinly against the grain.

Whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and water.

Add beef and sauce to slow cooker.

Cook on LOW for about 3 hours.

Optional: Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook on HIGH 15–30 minutes.

Serve hot over rice.
Notes
Add vegetables in the last hour if desired.
Use gluten-free soy sauce if needed.
