Description
Flaky puff pastry filled with sweet cream cheese and fresh strawberries, finished with a light glaze.
Ingredients

2 sheets puff pastry, thawed

4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

1 tablespoon cornstarch

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 egg

1 tablespoon milk or water

¼ cup strawberry jam (optional)

1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

2–3 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking pan with parchment paper.

Toss strawberries with sugar and cornstarch.

Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

Cut puff pastry into rectangles and score borders.

Fill centers with cream cheese and strawberries.

Brush edges with egg wash.

Bake until golden and puffed.

Cool slightly and glaze if desired.
Notes
Best served warm or the same day.
