Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 small yellow onion, diced

  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or 1 tablespoon fresh)

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan

  • Parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.

  • Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  • Sear the chicken in olive oil until golden.

  • Sauté onion and garlic.

  • Add broth, cream, mustard, thyme, paprika, and Parmesan. Stir.

  • Return chicken to the skillet.

  • Bake 30–35 minutes until internal temp is 165°F.

 

  • Rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use boneless thighs and reduce bake time if needed.
